1. State the assignment (problem/project) in your own words.
In our assignment we had to make a robot go 136 feet down the hallway, only using a Gryo sensor 2. What are your input factors? (What do you need to know or do before you can begin?) Include the research you did. we needed to know how to use a gyro sensor (which we didn't), the distances between the robot and the wall 3. Describe the process in detail. Explain the steps you followed in order to complete the project. first we had to figure out the problem, then we made a robot to fit those needs, using the gyro originally the robot didn't work, so we switched over to Ulatrsonic sensor, which was easier to use 4. Describe the final output / product in detail: (what are we looking at?) well the robot had three motors in the back which were spinning counter clockwise, making the robot go forward, the extension in the front kept the robot stable and the sensor angled at 45 degrees 5. Describe feedback you received during the project (suggestions, comments, etc). From peers, instructor etc.. How did you use this feedback to correct issues with your project? As Ricky Bobby once said" i want to go fast" the robot traveled pretty fast and was overall successful 6. What did you learn during the assignment such as tools, skills, design concepts, software, hardware, etc ? , The gyro sensor is very hard to use, the ultrasonic was the smarter choice as it was less complex to use 7. If you were to do the project again, what would you do differently and why? You have the opportunity to improve your grade if you actually implement these changes in your project. Our plan was very good, the only issue was the gryo |
